PNG and PDF exports

PNG is best for quick sharing. PDF is best for a report-style export that bundles the screenshot and your measurement list in one file.

When to use PNG vs PDF

PNG (image)
Use when you want a simple shareable image that matches what you see on screen.
PDF (report)
Use when you need a printable document that keeps the screenshot and the measurement table together.

What the PDF includes

  1. A screenshot-style capture of your current view.
  2. A table/list of measurement points and derived values.
  3. A single file that’s easier to attach to emails or reports.

Tips for cleaner exports

  1. Align the background first (rotate/flip/grid) so the screenshot matches your intended baseline.
  2. Name or organize points before exporting if you’ll reuse them later.
  3. If you need numbers for analysis, export CSV/Excel/JSON in addition to PNG/PDF.
