My Angle Looks Wrong (Not Accurate)
The protractor reading doesn’t match what you expect, or it changes when you zoom/adjust the image.
Most common causes
- The photo is tilted or has perspective distortion.
- You’re using 180° when you need 360° (reflex angles).
- The vertex or baseline is slightly off because the edge is blurry.
How to fix it
- Align the background using rotate/flip and the grid.
- Zoom in and re-place the protractor center exactly on the vertex.
- Try snap common angles first, then switch to step snap or turn snap off to fine-tune.
- If the angle is over 180°, switch to 360° mode.
